Use Those Punches

How often do you think to use your punches?? Sometimes they can sit forgotten about in the drawer while we get side tracked using all the beautiful stamps on offer. So this week we have a Let's Use Those Punches Challenge for you over at Late Night Stampers.

Simply Stamping with Narelle

Do you know the easiest way to remember to use punches?? Buy a matching stamp set. Like here I have used the Artisan Label Punch which coordinates with the Label Love Stamp set. And the Bitty Butterfly Punch which cordinates with the Papillon Potpourri Stamp set. Easy peasy !!!

I do hope that you pop over to Late Night Stampers and enter the challenge. It is always lots of fun to see what everyone comes up with. You might even get some inspiration while you are there.

Hope to see what you make soon.

Colour Challenge

The latest challenge over at Late Night Stampers is a colour challenge. Use Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, Tangerine Tango and Early Espresso. Here is my take on it.

Simply Stamping with Narelle

I am in love with the En Francais background stamp. Here I used it to create a background that stood out but didn't totally overpower the flowers. Stampin' Up! have a wonderful collection of background stamps with something for every occassion. Why don't you check them out and incorporate them more often in the cards you make.

I would love to see you have a go at this colour challenge too, pop your entry in here.

Supplies used:-
Stamps: Secret Garden, En Francais, Itty Bitty Banners
Paper: cherry Cobbler, Early Espressp, Whisper White
Inks: Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Bitty Banners Framelits, Secret Garden Framelits

Thanks for popping by today.

Christmas Tags

Today I have been in a Christmas frame of mind. So decided to make some lovely gift tags.

Lovely As A Tree

On this tag I used the Lovely As a Tree stamp set. I have only recently purchased this set and must admit that I wondered what all the hoohaa was about it. But now that I have it I am in love. It is such a versatile set and well worth the investment. When I first looked at it I had no concept that I could use it as a Christmas set. Just goes to show what a little imagination does.

Lovely As A Tree

Supplies used:-
Stamps: Lovely As A Tree, Petite Pairs, Label Love
Paper: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler
Inks: Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, Artisan Label Punch, Sponge Dauber
Non SU: Single Hole Punch, Cotton Twine

I hope like this tag. There is only something like 9 Saturdays left till Christmas. I am sure it will sneak up on all of us very quickly. Why not start making your cards and tags now so you can tick one thing off the list. Don't forget you can buy everything you need here and get it shipped straight to your door.

Until next time, happy creating and stay safe.

Another Fancy Fold

Just thought I would be a bit different today and share a Fancy Fold card...lol. I love the way this card turned out. It has a summery feel to it eventhough the colours are not immediately associated with summer. I think it is the gorgeous flowers that give it that vibe.

Simply Stamping

If you haven't seen this style of card before I will attempt to describe how it opens. The panel with  the Thank You on it, is adhered to the right hand panel and is held in place by slipping the left edge just under the Baked Brown Sugar Boutique Button. To open you lift this panel, then fold out the panel on the left, and finally the right hand panel to reveal the message inside.

Paper: Very Vanilla, Ventian Romance DSP
Inks: Island Indigo, Soft Suede
Accessories: Secret Garden Framelits, Labels Collection Framelits, Simply Scored, Trimmer, Big Shot Magnetic Platform, Big Shot, Sponge Daubers, In Colour Boutique Details

I hope you have enjoyed looking at this card and I have inspired you to create one yourself. If you are not confident enough to try it alone, then why not contact me to find out when this class will be scheduled again, or if you are not local, then talk to me about the kit and tutorial option.
