Envelope Liner Framelits - for more than just envelopes

Today I have something a little different to share with you. I was looking at my Envelope Liner Framelits and kicking myself that I keep forgetting to use them. So I decided to have a play and see what else I could do with them. I came up with this. A cute little tag card and gift card holder.

I used all 3 of the envelope liners in this project. The largest one formed the back of the pouch. Then the middle one formed the front. The edges of the largest one I scored and folded them over onto the front piece to secure it. Then I used the smallest of the liners to make the pull out pieces.

Now you can probably tell that these are longer than the actual framelit. To do this you slip the paper into the framelit so that the bottom of the paper sits on top of the die, as in the picture below.

As I wanted this to be a gift card holder, I created a couple of tags using the new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and attached a cut out stamped coral from By The Tide using dimensionals, so the tag to write your greeting on and the gift card can easily be removed.

So as you can see the Envelope Liner Framelits are for more than just envelopes.
