Something for Dad from Something For Baby

This week I had a light bulb moment.

I was looking at the new Something for Baby stamp set and matching Baby's First Framelits, and I could see something else that I could use them for.

And since Father's Day is coming up in a few months here in Australia, I was busting to try out my idea.

Narelle Fasulo - Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Isn't this such a fun card.

If you have a look at the t-shirt on this card, you will see that it is the baby suit from Something For Baby that I have trimmed off. The trimmed off bit of the t-shirt the makes the perfect pair of underpants....lol. How cool is that. The tie is also from the stamp set, and so are the socks. I just added another top to them so they look more like socks than baby booties.

This is actually a hybrid card. I used My Digital Studio to create the wording and then printed it onto a piece of DSP from the Moonlight Paper Stack. Then just stuck on my different elements and the Happy Father's Day sign.

I love how this card came together, and the fact that I could use My Digital Studio for some, and traditional card making to finish it off.

To make this card you will need :-
Paper - Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Moonlight DSP
Ink - Bermuda Bay, Real Red, Smoky Slate
Stamps - Something for Baby, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Accessories - My Digital Studio, Word Window Punch, Owl Builder Punch, Dimensionals, Baby First Framelits, Big Shot, Magnetic Platform

Remember you can grab anything you don't already have to make this card in my online shop anytime.
