Life doesn't have to be perfect...

...to be wonderful.

I absolutely love that saying - "Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful". It has to be one of my favourites. I find it so inspirational.

Here is a mini canvas that I created recently into which I incorporated that saying.

I was looking around my craft area for ideas. I needed to create something for my weekly inspiration in my newsletter. I saw a box of mini canvases and easels that I had been given quite some time ago. My cousin was going to use them as table numbers for her daughters wedding, but she ran out of time to create on them, so they went unused. She knows that I love to craft, so was only too happy to send them onto me.

So I made this gorgeous inspirational canvas. It was so much fun to do as well.

I spritzed the canvas  with a mixture of Pool Party ink and rubbing alcohol. Then  I sponged around the sides and edges with Blackberry Bliss. A small touch of Crumb Cake sponging added an aged look.  I stamped the saying in Chocolate Chip on Pool Party card and sponged the edges in Blackberry Bliss. The butterflies were stamped using Blackberry Bliss on Pool Party and then detailed using Dazzling Details. The Blackberry Bliss Satin Stitched Ribbon finished it off.

I actually have this sitting on my bed side table now. I love that this saying is  the first thing I see when I wake up, and the last thing I see before going to sleep.

Thanks for dropping by today. I hope that  you are inspired to make something like this. It is so much fun making home decor pieces. Not only do you get to enjoy the beauty of it every day, but you also have the joy of telling people "I made that !".

Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
