Have you made Dad a card, bought the presents, got the cake organised?
I have done two out of the three. Will bake a cake Sunday morning.
Here is the card I made for my children to give my husband.
This is a hybrid card. Hybrid means I have used My Digital Studio as well as traditional card making to complete it.
I used My Digital Studio to create the weather background and add the words. And yes I know I left the apostrophe out in Father's Day. I actually didn't notice it till after I had photographed it. Hubby won't know of course because I will get a Stampin' Write Marker and add it in before we give it to him.... LOL
Once I was happy with the placement of the words, I printed it onto Whisper White card stock. Then I trimmed it just a little to fit on my black card base.
Now the traditional card making comes into it. I used the new Mustache Framelit to cut out the cute mustache, and attached it with Dimensionals. Then I added some thick Bakers Twine on the bottom and glued the whole thing onto the card base.
It was such a quick and easy card to make.
I love using My Digital Studio and traditional card making together. You can come up with some really fun cards.
If you want to create a card like this, here is what I used.
Don't forget you can all these things and more in my online store.
Thanks for dropping by.
I hope you get some creative time this week.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
