By The Tide

It is nearly  my Dad's Birthday, so I thought it was time to make some male cards. And I chose to use the By The Tide stamp set.

Female cards are so easy to make, male cards not so much. They need a  bit more thought. After all it's so much easier to just put some flowers on a card and call it done. So if you struggle with male cards like me, I hope these give you some inspiration.

As you can see, each of these cards has been inspired by another person. Why re-invent the wheel right? But each card is slightly different to the original. And that is the beauty of sharing your work online. You get to inspire other people and in turn be inspired yourself. There is  no greater form of flattery than someone thinking your work is good enough to copy. If they give you credit for the original design, that is awesome, but if they don't, well so be it. You still get the thrill of knowing you have inspired someone enough for them to copy you. And that is why I create and share my work. I love knowing that other people appreciate it and take great joy from seeing it.

I hope I have inspired you enough with these cards, that you will make some male themed cards real soon. If you want to recreate any of mine above, then you will need  the following products. Now there is a lot of products listed here because it is for the three cards. If you need to know the products used for a specific card, then just pop a comment below.
