Have you had time to check out the new Holiday Catalogue yet? I hope you have, I would hate to think you are missing out on some serious gorgeousness. To make you drool even more, today I am participating in a Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop with the lovely ladies of ESAD.
So sit back, check out what I made and then hop along to the blogs of all the other wonderfully talented ladies on the list. You will find the complete list of participants at the end. If you are already working your way through the hop, then you would have just seen the gorgeous work of Rachael. Wasn't it great !
For my items today I decided to use the Berry Merry Bundle, which contains the Boughs & Berries embossing folder and coordinating Berry Merry Photopolymer stamp set. I love the samples in the catalogue using these and just had to have them.
For my first card I coloured the stamp with Stampin' Write Markers, and because the stamp set is photopolymer, it gave a cool water colour effect. To give the embossing folder a bit more detail I inked it up using Old Olive Classic Stamp Pad.
This second card has a different look again for the embossing. This time I coloured the different elements with Stampin' Write Markers. I love the look it gave with just a hint of colour around the edges of each shape..
My last project I made is a little gift using the Curvy Keepsake Die. Would you believe that this is the first time I have used this die. Oops. It has only been sitting in my stash for around 12 months. But I guess you can't rush some things....LOL
I embossed and then stamped the pieces after they were cut out. I love how this turned out. Maybe I will create more of these and have them at each table setting for my Christmas dinner.
Now that you have seen my creations, hop over to Emily's blog and have a look at her wonderful creations.
