Give Thanks

I know we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia. But I still think that it is good to say Thankyou to people. There is always someone you can Thank and a million reasons to do so. Think about your immediate family. I know I can think of lots of reasons off the top of my head without really even giving it much thought - thank my husband for working hard and providing us a stable environment, thank my son for trying his best at school, and thank my daughter for stepping outside of her comfort zone and trying new things. Then there is the extended family, friends, co-workers, teachers, teachers aides, and the list goes on. So recently in class I challenged my ladies to thank someone and give away these cards we made.

I love the simplicity of these cards. I wanted the greeting to be the main focus. When I first saw the Acorny Thankyou stamp set, I wasn't sure if I would get it. But its' appeal grew on me. And the fact that you can save 15% by buying it with the matching punch, made it a much more appealing prospect. I am so glad that I got it as there are lots of thankyou cards that I will need to make in my future.

The gorgeous background papers I have used are from the Into The Woods Designer Series Paper Pack. I love the mix of floral and earthy prints in this pack.

You can get any of these products I have featured by clicking on their image and going through to my online store. But these items are retiring soon, so are available only while stocks last. So you had better grab them now before they are sold out.

Thanks for popping  by my blog, and have a great day.

Cheers,
Narelle

Home for Christmas

I absolutely love the Home For Christmas Designer Series Paper in the 2015 Christmas Catalogue. So of course I needed to use it in a recent class.

The ladies loved making these cards, eventhough they did involve lots of fussy cutting. A couple of these cards were cased from other cards I saw on Pinterest, but I am not sure now whose they were. I just love that  there are so many creative people in this world who are willing to share their creativeness with others.

Reflection Technique

Recently I showed the ladies how easy it is to do the Reflection Technique. They were all amazed at just how easy it was. Here are the cards that we made.

These were all cased by other cards on Pinterest. No need to invent the wheel really. If you find that one of these has been cased by one of your creations, please pop me an email and I will acknowledge your wonderful creativeness.

Watch out for a video soon on how to do this.
I hope I have inspired you to try something different.

Thanks for visiting and have a lovely day.
Cheers,
Narelle
