What a delicious colour combination!
This is the current challenge over at Global Design Project. I love this combination. It is so on trend and I just think it is great.
So without any further dilly dally, here is my card.
I am very happy with how this card came together. And boy did it come together fast. I had the initial idea a couple of days ago but not all the finer details worked out. The first chance I have had to sit at my craft desk was tonight while my daughter was having her shower...lol...too much information ??
Well anyway, I started with the flowers from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set called What I Love. The reason I used these was that I had them already stamped. At card class on Wednesday one of the ladies said she was having problems lining up the different layers. You see this is a multi step stamp. So I was showing her how I did it. And I ended up with a strip of card with all these flowers stamped on it. And it just so happened that I did them in Daffodil Delight. I knew then that I was going to incorporate these some how into this weeks challenge card.
Then as I was fussy cutting these flowers, I came up with the idea to use the Brushstrokes stamp set on an angle to create a tabletop for the vase. And then all the other little finishing touches just fell into place.
I hope you like it and I have inspired you to get creative.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
