Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls. This week we are focusing on Easter. It's only next week. How did that happen ! Gosh time seems to go faster each year.
Today I have three Easter projects for you. These are the cards we did last week in card class. I have cased each of these other peoples ideas. Who needs to reinvent the wheel right!
Isn't this little bunny so cute. I just had to do a card with the Easter Bunny on it. She is made with embossed card stock, 2 circle dies and an oval die. The little heart tail is a punch and if you look closely through the grass, which is made using the Fringe Scissors, you will see her little punched feet.
And of course, not forgetting the reason for the season. This is such a simple card to make, but so very effective. Ignore that I used a Christmas embossing folder won't you. I didn't think that anyone in class would notice the holly.....but .....well, they did LOL. I just suggested they focus on the centre of the card instead. The cross is made by simply stamping the hardwood stamp on two strips of crumb cake card stock. Then using the Wondrous Wreath set (yes another Christmas item..LOL) to make the wreath.
And then of course I couldn't leave out every childs favourite, the Easter Egg. And yes, I know, I used the same Christmas embossing folder. You know I realised after this class, that I do really need to get more embossing folders. The Easter Egg is simply a rectangle piece of embossed and coloured whisper white card stock. What makes it into an Easter Egg is the oval cut raised piece over the top of it.
Now that you have seen my little Easter projects, how about popping over to the other girls and see what they have come up with.
Thanks for popping by today.
Have a great day.
