It is not very often I need to make a Get Well card. So I tend not to make many. But at the moment I have a dear Uncle very sick in hospital. He is around a 6 hour drive away, so I can't easily visit him. The next best thing I can do is send him a card.
This is what I made.
I used the forever timeless stamp set, Lovely As A Tree. This is a great every occasion stamp set to have in your stash. I have seen all sorts of card made with it.
The background of the trees is simply watercolour paper that I have used an aqua pen and Garden Green ink and sort of just painted in big rough strokes. I love how easy it is to get a textured background with little effort, and that every time you do it, you end up with a different look.
I decided to tee up the making of this card with the current Global Design Project challenge, case the Designer.
I hope I have inspired you to get creative today.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
