Today I have a card to share with you that has an interesting spine. I taught this technique in class a few weeks ago and the ladies could not believe how easy it was to do.
I downloaded a template from somewhere ages ago for the spine. But basically you cut diagonal lines along the fold and then fold every second piece down and tuck it under. The template had lots of different cuts for many different looks, so one day I will have a go at some of the others.
The stamp set I used is called Picture Perfect, and just happens to be the set of the week over at What Will You Stamp. This set is one that I have found people either love or are luke warm towards. The multi step stamping puts some people off, but what I have found in class, is that once people have a play they are more confident and come to love this set. Actually when I did this card in class, the ladies all stamped much better flowers than mine.
Here is the stamp set if you haven't seen it before.
I hope I have inspired you to get inky real soon.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
