Freshly Brewed Projects - Feathers

Weclome to another Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls. This week we are talking Feathers. So I chose to work with the cute and oh so fabulous Flamingo from the Pop of Paradise stamp set.

Here is what I made.

Pop of Paradise - Narelle Fasulo -Simply Stamping with Narelle - available here - http://www3.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=141581&dbwsdemoid=4008228

I love the instant feeling of summer when I use this stamp set. The fabulous flamingo and the bold foliage just make me wish that I was somewhere warm and tropical.

Check out the stamp set.

The background of this card was created by using the Brushstrokes background stamp in Blushing Bride. I stamped off once so the background would be more subtle as I really wanted the flamingo to pop. I then stamped some of the leaves onto the card. I stamped once in full ink and then stamped a second time without reinking. On another piece of Whisper White Card Stock, I stamped several more leaves, the flamingo, the Thank You banner and another small section of the Brushstrokes stamp. I cut all these elements out and used the Layering Circle Framelits to cut out a section of the stripes. I glued the flamingo straight onto the card, but all the other elements are raised using Dimensionals.

Now that you have seen my card, it's time to check out what the other Latte Girls have been doing.

And don't forget that during July you can earn vouchers to spend in August.
Here is how it works - You’ll get a $9 coupon (via email) by spending $90 in July. You can use the coupons in August on any item you want! The best part is that you can earn another coupon for every $90 you spend.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
