Freshly Brewed Projects - Washi

Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls. This week we are talking Washi.
Washi has to be the most wanted craft item and possibly the  most neglected. Well it is for me, anyway.

You see all the beautiful Washi tapes in the catalogue and just have to have them all. But then, if you are like me, they sit in the drawer forgotten. Sometimes I deliberately don't use them because I like them too much. Yep, that's a bit silly isn't it.

So today we plan to bring Washi out of the drawer and on to our projects.

I must apologise for my project before I show it to you. I have been busy with family stuff and didn't get the time to create everything I wanted to show you using Washi. So I just have the one card today.

Cookie Cutter Christmas - Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape - Narelle Fasulo - Simply Stamping with Narelle - available here - https://www3.stampinup.com/ECWeb/CategoryPage.aspx?categoryid=30100&dbwsdemoid=4008228

I have created a simple background on this card by just layering a few different washi tapes across the card. I have then topped them with a sentiment embossed on red card stock.

Washi creates a wonderful effect when used like this, and the effort is minimal.

Now that you have seen how I have used Washi, pop over to see what the other Latte Girls have done.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
