World Card Making Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the World Card Making Day Blog Hop.

Today is World Card Making Day and what better way to celebrate than with a blog hop. So sit back, grab a cuppa and get ready to be inspired.

The card I have to show you today is from a Christmas card class that I taught on the weekend. I am having quite a few christmas themed classes because there is just so much to love in our Holiday Catalogue. I just had to teach with it all and share it with everyone.

But I think I may have got carried away with what I designed as it took the ladies twice as long as I expected to make it. But then again, there was quite a lot of chit chat going on that could of contributed to that.

So here is the card.

I used the Santa's Sleigh bundle for this card. This is such a great bundle that I have used for a lot of cards in classes so far. If you haven't seen it yet, then here it is.

Now it would take me a long time to describe exactly how I made this card, so I will just outline some key items. I might make a video on it soon, and I will be sure to post about that when I do. So make sure you come back every day to see when that happens.

The snow effect was made using white embossing powder and the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. Then the panels were sponged using Night of Navy and Pacific Point inks. There are three trees stamped on vellum using Stazon. The top reindeer of each pair is adhered using dimensionals. And a Real Red enamel shape was added for Rudolphs nose. That's a quick run through, stay tuned for the video.

Now it's time to check out what everyone else has done. So just follow along the list below.

Thanks for dropping by and have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
