Freshly Brewed Projects - Emboss Resist

Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls. This week it is all about Emboss Resist.

Emboss Resist is such a fun technique. Normally it involves embossing using Versamark ink and then pouring over an embossing powder, and finally heating it to melt the powder.  Once melted you sponge over the embossing to reveal the stamped image.

But Stampin' Up! have made it so easy for everyone to do this technique, without having to by lots of supplies. They have created some wonderful self embossed papers that are perfect for this technique. One of them is Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper.

So this paper already has the embossing on it, and all you need to do , is sponge over the top to reveal the pattern. So so easy.

Here is the card  I made using this paper.

I am in love the lattice patterned paper in the pack. But there are lots of other lovely patterns as well.

I inked the paper using a sponge, then rubbed the ink off the embossed part with a tissue so that it came back to brillirant white. I then added some die cuts and a sentiment. Such a quick and easy card.

Now that you have seen what I have created, it is time to head over to see what the other Latte Girls have been up to.

But before you go, I just wanted to remind you about the Online Extravaganza that is happening now. From 21st - 28th November, you can grab some great products at up to 40% off. But if you want an even greater discount, then consider joining my team. Then you can save up to a massive 60% off.

I chose to use the Fruit Stand bundle as I wanted a bright fun set of cards and box. This bundle is just so much fun to work with. I love the bright bold patterns of the designer series paper and the cute fruit stamps.

I think anyone would be excited to receive this gorgeous box full of bright and cheery cards.

Now that you have seen my project, pop over to the other Latte Girls to see what they have come up with.
