What are OnStage swaps I hear you say?
Well first of all OnStage is the bi-annual gathering for Stampin' Up! demonstrators. We gather from all over the globe for a few days of training, inspiration and camaraderie. It is so much fun. The swaps are creations we make in bulk to share with others. You give a swap to a fellow demonstrator and they give you back one of their creations.
I have just come back from OnStage. It was held at the Brisbane Convention Centre. I can't show you any of the new products yet, or the new Occasions catalogue starting January. You will just have to keep coming back until I can.
I have never done swaps before, but I thought it was a fantastic way to get a variety of designs to inspire others, especially my customers who come to my classes. And it also means that I don't need to own every single stamp set in the catalogue to be able to have a sample on hand. As much as I would love to own it all, sadly the budget doesn't always allow for it.
So today I thought I would show you the swaps I made and took with me to Brisbane.
I made five different card fronts. Card fronts are a lot easier to swap than actual cards as they cut down the weight and volume you need to carry. Plus it gives the recipient more options on how to use them.
I made the cards basically all the same, just used the five different current InColors of Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, Dapper Denim, and Flirty Flamingo. The stamp set used is Bunch of Blossoms. I used all the greetings from the set as well. So there was lots of choices in my swaps.
I got some amazing swaps too, that I will show you in the coming weeks.
If you haven't got this stamp set, then you need to consider it. It is amazing. It is a multi step stamp, and the shading and effect you get from it is just beautiful.
You can also get this stamp set as part of a bundle at 10% off. That makes it even better.
I hope you liked my swaps. I have a few left over, so if you order from me this month, you might just find one or two in your mailbox.
Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
