Today I wanted to show you a card I designed for my October Stamping By Mail class using Seasonal Bells. It is not a Christmas card this time, but rather a wedding card.
I used the beautiful Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper as the background and sponged it in Cherry Cobbler. On the middle square which measures 4"x 4", I used the flourish stamp from the set to create a circle. It was surprisingly simple to make. The bells are mounted on dimensionals with the Mr and Mrs stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink. These are topped with a big bow made using the Whisper White Organza Ribbon. The 'Best Wishes as the wedding bells ring' sentiment was stamped and backed by ovals using the Layering Oval Dies. All the supplies used in making this card are listed at the bottom of the page if you want to recreate it.
Here is the stamp set and punch if you haven't seen them in the catalogue.
Even though this set has a lot of Christmas connotations, it can be used for more than that. If you want this set, then you are best to buy it now while it is part of the Year End Closeouts.
