The work of others

Back in November I attended the Stampin' Up! event called OnStage. This is an event for demonstrators where we spend a couple of days being inspired, spoiled and rejuvenated. Part of the fun of this event is the swaps. Swaps are fantastic. You get to see lots of creative ideas and meet people you normally wouldn't.

I participated in the swaps for the first time at this event, and had a ball. So I thought I would do a series of posts on the swaps that I received at OnStage. Plus a few that I received as part of some team swaps  recently.

Here are the first few cards.

This first card is from Coralie Jarrett of  South Australia. She has used the beautiful Star of Light stamp set. This is a set that I didn't purchase. I guess you can't buy everything, but I went
I love how she has used non traditional christmas colours, and instead used Sweet Sugarplum. This has to be my favourite colour at the moment, so I was delighted to be able to swap with Coralie.

This card was created by Brooke Toms. The Seasonal Bells has to be one of my favourite bundles from the Holiday Catalogue. I loved it that much, I created a whole Stamping By Mail class around it. I like simplicity of Brooke's card. She doesn't detract from the bells, yet there is enough detail in it to keep it from being boring.

This lovely card was made by Leonie Schroder. Another christmas card in non traditional colours. I so wish I was brave enough to break from the red, gold and green. The gorgeous scene on the tag is from the Merry Tags Framelits. I love the delicate colour scheme of this card and the subtle embossing on the background.

I hope you have had the joy of receiving some hand made cards this christmas. They are so special to make and receive as they are full of more than just the paper and ink, they are full of love.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
