Have you ever recycled anything and used it when making your projects?

This months challenge over at Off The Rails Scrapbooking is just that.
Use something recycled long with this fabulous mood board.

I decided to use the colours of the mood board and the butterfly as inspiration. But I twisted the butterfly to insect, and then translated that to dragonfly. A bit like chinese whispers or mind association I guess.
I just love that with any mood board you can use it for inspiration and twist it your way.

So this is the page I made.

Dargonfly Dreams - Simply Stamping with Narelle - available here -

The recycled component of my layout is the background. That is the brown paper we get in our boxes when we order. I simply scrunched it up, opened it up, then spritzed it with Pacific Point and Old Olive. Scrunched it up again and then opened it to let dry.

I tore a few strips off and made flowers out of them too. Here is a close up of them.

Make sure you pop over to Off The Rails Scrapbooking and check out all the other inspiration from the design team. Why not enter the challenge while your there.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
