Shaded blooms

Do you wish that you could get more depth and shading in your stamped blooms? Well you can, and it is so easy to do. All you need to do is use markers. Yep it's that simple. Here is a card where I have added some shading for depth on a single layer stamp.

There are several ways you can do this. You can ink the stamp up with the lighter colour using an ink pad and then colour in parts of the stamp with a darker colour marker. Or you can colour all the image with the lighter marker and then selectively colour with the darker marker. Either way you do it, you get a great result. Just remember to huff on the stamp to refresh the ink before you stamp onto your card stock.

I have coloured the blooms using the Sweet Sugarplum ink pad and then coloured over the top in parts using the Berry Burst marker.

Imagine the possibilities and the colour gradiences and variances you can achieve with this technique. I would love you to try it and let me know how you go with it.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
