Welcome to another Ink & Inspiration blog hop.
Get ready to see some gorgeous creations. The theme for this hop is our logo. I love this logo, so much to draw inspiration from. There are the colours, the water colour effect, the angles and the bold text. I am sure everyone has come up with some amazing creations.
Here is my creation.
I have taken the water colour look and the angles from the logo as my inspiration. The idea came to me in a flash so I had to rush to my craft room to make the card before it leaked from my ears.
I wanted to recreate the angles in the logo, and the easiest way I thought to do that was to segment the card using old washi tape.
I decided to use Brusho as my water colour medium as I had yet to use it this way. The colours chosen were Prussian Blue, Brilliant Red and Yellow. I popped a little of each colour on an acrylic block, then used an Aqua Painter to add water and paint with it.
Once all the sections were coloured, I let it dry, then carefully pulled away the washi tape.
I am really pleased with how it came out.
A bold stamped sentiment, again inspired by the logo, and a couple of Tutti Frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins and the card was complete.
I hope the project you've seen here on my blog today has inspired you & brightened your day. You are currently visiting Narelle Fasulo. Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You don't want to miss any!
