Welcome to the second installment of the High Tide series. In this post we introduce colour. One the advantages of working with a stamp set that has an ocean overture, is that you get to play with loads of colour as you capture sunsets and sunrises. This first card could be either.
I just love the richness of this card. The deep orange of a sunset and the reflection of the water is just magical. I was inspired to create this card by what I see below every afternoon on my walk.
I hope I captured it in the card and did it justice. I never get tired of this view.
At times though it can get stormy with dark clouds building. I don't have a photo to show you of that, but I did try to recreate it in this card.
This card is not so serene and peaceful looking. It reminds me of a windswept rocky outcrop with storm clouds building. It is amazing what you can achieve with ink, paper and a sponge. And how you can get so many different looks from the one stamp set.
To make your own spectacular cards just like these, grab some of the supplies I used below.
Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
