Welcome and thanks for dropping by.
Today I have something a little different to share with you. It is a scrapbook page. Being a Design Team Member for Off the Rails Scrapbooking means that every second month I get a chance to make a scrapbook page. Scrapbooking was my first paper craft passion and something I wish I made more a priority. So thankfully, I get that chance every second month with a mood board challenge.
May's mood board is below.
And I had the perfect photo for this mood board so this is what I did.
I just love this photo of the sunset. It was taken by my teenage son when on a recent family picnic. The orange and yellow in the sunset was just so vivid.
This whole page was done with a few stamps, a stencil and some dies. Not a piece of patterned paper to be seen. I wanted to keep the colours pretty much the same as what is in the photo as I wanted the photo to be the central point. So I used black ink on all the background stamping and added just a pop of colour for the text elements.
I encourage you to enter the current challenge over at Off the Rails Scrapbooking. There are some wonderful prizes up for grabs.
Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
