Delightfully Detailed Memories and More

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a Memories and More page for you. Recording our memories is something that we should make a priority. Because as time goes by, our memories fade and precious little details are forgotten. I am guilty of not making the time for this, but that is something I need to change.

This double layout has so many memories entangled in it that I couldn't risk forgetting.

The photos are of a week my family spent on a break after a stressful time. My Father had passed away and I spent eight weeks with my Mum making sure she was ok and doing all the paperwork that comes with someone passing. During this time, my children stayed with me and even though they were so confused and out of place, they dealt with the situation very well. My husband flew back to Sydney every week for work and back to us in Brisbane on the weekends.  To show my gratitude for my families support, I booked us a beach side holiday for a week.

We spent the week focusing on our little family and enjoying each others company. So the natural choice of Memories and More cards to use was the Delightfully Detailed pack. I just love the sentiments on the cards. How apt are the ones I used on this page - Things are Good,  Amazing, and I'm so Grateful.

I love the pocket page style of memory keeping for its simplicity. You can quickly do a page in just a little while. There are lots of opportunities to add journaling and quirkly little bits and bobs. I just love this "Put your phone down" card. It was something that we said often during this week as we were determined to focus on us.

Even though it was winter, we still loved spending time walking the beach. I have always found the ocean and crashing waves to be an instant tonic for the soul. So I added a few beach chair die cuts.

And a few love hearts to represent the love we have for each other. I think we came out of our period of grief a much stronger and loving family.

Freshly Brewed Projects - Paper Stacks

Hello and welcome to my blog, and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls. Today's post is all about Paper Stacks.

Have you seen all the wonderful Paper Stacks we have on offer. There is such a wide variety available, there is sure to be something for everyone. Check them out below.

The wonderful thing about these paper stacks, besides all the beautiful patterns and colours, is that they are 6" x 6". So they are perfect for card fronts and smaller projects. I think they are really versatile. I have used the InColor 2018-2020, Subtles and Brights Paper Stacks in todays cards.

Need some versatile paper for your card making? Then check out the wonderful variety in our 6" x 6" Paper Stacks. See them here - http://bit.ly/DesignerSeriesPaper

This first card uses the Subtles Paper Stack with the Calypso Coral spotty paper.  It is the perfect accent for the simple floral piece.

I just love that the patterns in these papers stand by themselves on these cards. There is very little detail on these cards as I let the paper speak for itself. I think they are just lovely papers. If you are wondering where the flowers and sentiments are from, they are from the sticker sheets in the Big Plans Planner Kit.

I hope you have been inspired by all our creations.
Have a great day.

Narelle
