Animal Outing

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a couple of very cute cards to share with you using the new Animal Outing stamp set.

I have fallen in love with this stamp set. When I first saw it, I wasn't that keen on it. But now I have used it, I think it is amazing.

I did a Live Facebook craft session today using it.

Here are the cards from that session. First up is the sweet Kangaroo and Koala in the pouch. So very Aussie. Had to use that animal first.

This was the sample card that I had made ahead of time so I had something to show everyone who came to the live crafting session. I asked those watching to choose what animal and sentiment they wanted me to use on the card I was making live.

I demonstrated how to colour the leaves while I waited for the votes to roll in on what animal to use and the sentiment to go with it. Giraffe got the most votes, and the Thank You sentiment got chosen.

I couldn't stamp just one Giraffe. And I chose a different green for the leaves.

Because the votes were so close between the Giraffe and the Rhinoceros, I just had to make one of him too.

You probably can't tell, and I probably shouldn't tell you, but I stamped the Rhinoceros a little crooked. So it wouldn't show on the finished card, I made a bush in front of him from the stamped and fussy cut leaves.

I can't wait to get the matching framelits for this stamp set. Would of made that bush a lot quicker to make.

I hope you have been inspired by my projects today. All the products I used to create these are listed below. Each of them will take you to my online store.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
