Hello and welcome to my blog. Today brings you the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop which this month is all about Birthdays.
Every one loves to feel special on their birthday. And what can be more special than a handmade card. I just love the look of joy on people's faces when they receive a handmade card. The craftsmanship and the realisation that someone has spent time making something just for them, can quite often bring a tear to their eyes.
Today I have some simple but effective birthday cards to share with you. I decided to showcase our lovely new InColors and a perfect background stamp set, aptly called Birthday Backgrounds.
This card is made using the vibrant Blueberry Bushel. I love blue and this one packs a punch.
I have not only decided to feature the InColors, but I have also used the coordinating embossing powders. I love the shine from heat embossing.
The next colour is Lovely Lipstick.
Don't the candles in the background look great. The backgrounds compliment the large Happy Birthday perfectly. They are subtle enough to not distract.
Pineapple Punch is the InColor up next.
Then we have Call Me Clover.
And last is Grapefruit Grove.
All these cards are basically the same, but because of the different backgrounds and colours, they all look different. I am sure whoever receives them will be very happy.
Now that you have seen my creations, it is time to go see what everyone else has done.
Thanks for dropping by. If you are interested in purchasing any of the products I have used today, please see the product list below.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
