Global Stamping Friends - Home Decor

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am participating in a blog hop with the Global Stamping Friends. Our theme is Home Decor.

You don't  normally think Home Decor when you think Stampin' Up!. So today we are going to change your ideas and give you a whole heap of inspiration.

I haven't actually made a project from scratch for todays blog hop. Instead I have modified something.

Do you remember a few years ago the light up letters were all the rage. You saw them everywhere. Well I bought some and duly put them in my cupboard to forget about. When I moved last year I came across them again. In the new house, they duly ended up back in the cupboard for another day. So when the theme of this blog hop was announced, I knew I just had to get these letters out and do something with them.

So I used the gorgeous Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper and decorated them. I am so in love with this paper, so it was a must for these letters. And it matches the colour scheme of my craft room. These will sit proudly on view so I am inspired every time I walk into my space. No more cupboard for these guys.

Doesn't that paper look even more gorgeous with the lights on. I love that these are battery powered so they don't need a power point. I guess I could use them for photo props too. Perhaps I should of got two S's for Simply Stamping, but I thought SU for Stampin' Up! was pretty good.

Look how special they look with the lights off in the room.

Can you tell I love my letters....lol
