Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a fun technique to share with you. Multicoloured heat embossing. I have done several cards using this technique recently. Here is the first one.
I have used the Beautiful Promenade stamp set for this as it works best on a large stamp. The flowers in this set are quite large.
This technique is not difficult at all. You ink up your stamp with Versamark like you normally do. But instead of tipping your embossing powder over the image, you use a spoon to selectively put different coloured embossing powder onto the stamped image. You won't be able to save the powder and reuse it as your colours will mix when you tip it off. But I think that is such a small price to pay for such a cool effect.
I love the effect this technique gives. Here are a few more cards I have done using it.
Wondering what embossing powders I have used?
The new 2018-2020 InColor Emboss Powders. They come in the cutest tube of 5 little pots.
This is such a fun technique. If you want to try it, I would love to see what you make. So please share it with me over on my facebook page.
Thanks for dropping by
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
