Off the Rails - Bring in the Cold

Hello and welcome to my blog. Todays post is all about the cold. It is part of the Off The Rails Scrapbooking July Challenge.

Each month there is a new fun and exciting challenge to take part in. This months challenge is to Bring In the Cold. I didn't have any snow pictures or any pictures about the cold really. Probably because I don't like the cold....lol....I have plenty of beach pictures..lol.

So instead of a scrap page, I thought I would make a cold themed card. So here is what I came up with. My winter snowman card.

Make exciting creations easily with no stamping using our punches and framelits - see all the great products on offer here - http://bit.ly/shopwithnarelle.com

This was such a fun card to make. I started with the punch art snowman who started with three circles. Then I started making all the little details. It was a challenge to look at all my punches and framelits trying to envisage a scarf, hat and mittens. But I think it all turned out quite good.  Then I sponged the Whisper White card stock using Night of Navy down the bottom and Balmy Blue at the top. The Seasonal Layers Thinlits provided the snowflakes and the snowdrift along the bottom is thanks to the Delicate Lace Edgelits Dies.

And I am loving that brads are back in the catalogue. They made the perfect snowman buttons.
