Travel

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am taking part in an international blog highlight run by fellow Australian demonstrator, Kylie Bertucci. Each month she invites demonstrators from all over the world to take part in a celebration of everything Stampin' Up!

This month the theme is Travel. Many of my fellow demonstrator friends are off later this month to Greece to cruise around the Greek Isles. This is a wonderful all expenses paid trip paid for by Stampin' Up! as a reward of their hard work. I can't wait to see all the photos and hear their stories. My own team leader, Leonie Schroder is among those going. I know for a fact  that she is very excited. I can't blame her. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

So today I have made a card just for her. I hope she is too busy packing to see this card on my blog before she receives it.

The sail boats was as close as I could get to a cruise boat theme. I am sure she won't mind and will be touched by the fact that I made it just for her.

The water was created using the Lilypad Lake stamp set. The sail boats were from the same set, but these were cut out using the matching Lakeside Framelits. The Bon Voyage banner was created using the Pick A Pennant stamp set

I love how this card came together. It is quite simple, but I think it is enough. The colours are very relaxing and I hope they calm Leonie down as I have a feeling she could be a tad nervous.

As I mentioned earlier, this card is part of Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlight. So please jump over to the gallery and see what every one else has done. While you are there, you can vote for my creation. I would really appreciate it.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the products I have used on this card, please see the Product List below. Each product image will take you directly to that product in my online store.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle

  1. I am sure Leonie is going to adore this card Narelle. It IS calming and relaxing ... I love the large expanse of ocean created with the water ripple stamp, and the fact that these sail boats look like they are just cruising around, catching every little puff of breeze, rather than roaring around in a 15 knot gale! :) xxxx
