Distinktive Stamps

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am showcasing our new Distinktive stamps.

So what are they?
It is a new style of stamp that Stampin' Up! have developed called a Distinktive stamp. This type of stamp lays down the ink at different opacities giving the finished image more depth - just ink the surface lightly for a perfect photographic finish.

Here are some amazing samples made with them.

There are a few things you need to know when using the Distinktive stamps.
The first is that they are all designed to fit onto an ink pad and not be bigger than it. The reason for this, is so as not to get a line on the stamp where the edge of the ink  pad is. And also to ensure that the stamp has an even cover of ink.
The other thing that is important with these stamps, is the amount  of ink in the ink pad. If the ink pad is too dry, not all the details will stamp. If the ink  pad is too wet and the ink bubbles on the surface of  the stamp, you have too much ink. The detail will be lost.

Once you have mastered the ink level in your ink pad, you too can create amazing projects like those above.

Here are all the wonderful Distinktive stamp sets currently in our range.
