Freshly Brewed Projects - Spring is Coming

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today we have another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop. The theme for today, Spring is Coming.

I can't believe that Spring is nearly here. We have just over a week left of winter. Not that I have really felt the winter here in Brisbane. It is definitely a much more milder winter than the ones in Sydney. The bulbs in my garden think it's spring already.

When I think spring, I think flowers. So I had to make a floral card for todays theme.

Create pretty cards with one stamp set that covers all seasons. But be quick, it's only available until the end of August 2018. See it here - http://bit.ly/ColourYourSeasonbySU

I used the Blended Seasons stamp set which is a limited time release. I think this floral stamp is so beautiful. I have embossed it with white embossing powder on watercolour paper.  Then I coloured very lightly using the Watercolour Pencils Assortment 2. I then flooded the petals and leaves, and let the watercolour paper work its magic. I love the softness you achieve when using this technique.

These watercolour pencils are also a limited release. Both the pencils and stamp set are only available till the end of this month. So you are running out of time to get it. Click on the image below or HERE to get yours now.

Did you notice the background on this card? It's actually a little sneak peek of something new.

It is a new background stamp coming in the holiday catalogue, called Buffalo Check. I missed it the first time through the catalogue. But when I did notice it, I was very excited. This check will be an awesome background for so many projects.

Thanks for dropping by.
If you would like to purchase any of the products I have used on todays project, please see the list below.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
