Make it Snow

Hello and welcome to my blog. You may have noticed that I have been a little absent. That is because our little family went on a short vacation. We took a trip to the outback to a town called Lightning Ridge. It is very remote and is in drought at the moment. But it is also the Black Opal capital of the world. We love going there to try our lack at trying to find opal that the miners have missed in their discard piles. No luck this time, but that doesn't mean we won't try again.

Lightning Ridge is such a different place to the card I have to share with you today. The Ridge, as it's commonly referred to, has been in drought now for five years. Wouldn't it be good if I could make it snow there, just like on this card.

This card is one I created for the creative challenge I set my team this month. The photo below was the inspiration for the challenge. I ran with the blue, snows and trees.

Take a closer look at the trees. They have snow on them.

This was so easy to do. It is just  the Shimmery White Embossing Paste. I love how it sparkles and makes a wonderful looking snow. All I did was use the tip of a spatula and dabbed the paste onto the trees, then set aside to try. So super easy yet such a fantastic result.

If you would to purchase any of the products I have used on my project today, please see the Product List at the bottom.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
