Stamping Techniques to Try - Marbling

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today it is time for the Stamping Techniques To Try blog hop. We have such a fun technique to share with you today.  Marbling with the Stamparatus.

I must admit I found this technique a little challenging. I think part of the reason for this was that I didn't really have a large surface stamp to use. The technique works best on large solid photopolymer stamps, of which I had none that suited. I didn't let that stop me though.  I just came up with something using smaller stamps.

So what is this Marbling with the Stamparatus technique?
Basically, using the Stamparatus as the block for your stamp, ink up the stamp as you normally would and stamp on your card stock.

Then grab a disposable glove and using your finger add a bit of another colour ink on the stamp using a swirl motion.

Stamp onto your card stock. Repeat if desired with another colour ink.

My cheering girls and grass were stamped using this method. It really is quite fun as you never know what the end result will look like.
