Freshly Brewed Projects - Frames

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today it is time for another Freshly Brewed Project from the Latte Girls. This week it is all about frames. There are so many interpretations of frames. It could be frames on cards or frames for home decor, and many things in between.

I decided to do a frame on a card. There are lots of different ways that you can do this. I chose a fun technique to create my frame and one this is quite easy.
Here is the card I made.

The frame on this card doesn't look special does it? But that's where it is deceiving. It looks like I have just stamped the sentiment and cut it out, then glued it in place. That's not the case at all. This is a single layer card front.

I did use a framelit for the sentiment, but that was just as a template to draw my frame. I then masked the frame and stamped over it. I love the effect you get with this technique. And it is so much fun to do.

Isn't the combination of colours just beautiful on this card. I have used the 2017-2019 InColors. These all work so wonderfully together. We often over look the InColors when choosing a colour scheme. Just a note, these particular colours won't be in the next annual catalogue, so make sure you grab them now. I have a link to them at the bottom of the page.

The stamp set I used is called First Frost and is new to the Holiday Catalogue. It is actually part of a larger product suite called Frosted Floral. I love this product suite so much, I have designed an Online Class using it. If you love florals like I do, and you want a class delivered to your door, then be sure to read all about it by clicking on the picture below.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
