Timeless Tidings

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am highlighting the Timeless Tidings Stamp Set. This set is designed to accompany the Timeless Tidings Card Kit. But often with the kits, we tend to overlook the accompanying stamp sets. Once the kit is finished, the stamp set sits forlornly on the shelf. So I decided to highlight the stamp set and give you some ideas on how to use it after you have finished the kit.

Here is the kit and the stamp set in case you haven't seen them yet.

As you can see the stamp set is great by itself. With it's lovely sentiments in a great font, and the three cute  little elements, you can make lots of projects with it. Here are just three that I have recently made.

This first card I stamped the holly and pointsettia in a rough wreath shape and then coloured using Stampin' Blends in Shaded Spruce and Real Red.

For this second one I stamped the pointsettia in Cherry Cobbler on the background. To make it paler, I stamped off three times so that the stamped image was paler. Then I stamped two more in full strength Cherry Cobbler on scrap card stock, along with two holly leaves, then cut them out. I then used Blender Pens to add a touch of colour to them.

This was the most fun and quickest card to make. I actually did it on a facebook live. I stamped the trees in full strength Garden Green across a strip of Whisper White card stock. I left gaps in between so I could come back with stamped off Garden Green, then again but with twice stamped off ink. By having different strengths of ink, it gives the trees a sense of depth.

I love how quick and easy  these cards were to make. They look so different to the cards in the Timeless Tidings Kit. And that's the beauty of using the stamp sets outside of the kit. It is another stamp set on the shelf and the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
