Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Halloween

Hello and  welcome to my blog. Today I am taking part in the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. The theme is Halloween and Fall. Even though Halloween is not a big event in Australia, it is gaining momentum. And I had a really cool idea floating around in my head, so of course I chose to do a  Halloween themed project.

So I had an idea in my head to do something with mummy bandages. I know people don't send cards for Halloween, so the obvious choice was a treat holder. I made a simple box and decorated it to look like a mummy.

It was surprisingly easy to do. If you are interested in how I made the box, watch the video below which shows you the same box  but just in a Christmas theme.
The box has a white belly band around it. So all I did was tear  thin strips of white card stock the same width as the belly band. I then sponged the edges and glued them onto the belly band. I made sure they overlapped in places and also left a few gaps. This gave me the opportunity to draw in the eyes. Such a cute and scary Halloween treat box.

If you want to know how to make the box, watch this video below. It is a replay of a facebook Live in which I made the same box for a Christmas Advent Calendar idea.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
