Hello and welcome to my blog. It is a new month so that means a new challenge over at Off The Rails Scrapbooking.
The theme this month is so on trend. Tribal Boho Chic. I have seen this theme everywhere.
I love this theme. It's so grungy and girly at the same time. I had so much fun making my project today. I decided to go with a scrap page as I had the perfect photo and title in mind. But I had no obvious tribal stamp sets, so a little thinking outside of the box was called for. First, here is my layout, then I will explain what I used to create the Tribal Boho Chic feel.
First I started with looking through our designer series papers really carefully. I noticed in the Tropical Escape pack, some arrow type designs. This became the base for my layout, and the colours depicted the colour scheme I used. Then I wanted to pick up the rose type theme that quite often accompanies this style. The perfect stamp set for this was First Frost. The accompanying foliage sprays and the die cut elements also worked well.
The heading I already had in mind. The Lined Alphabet stamp set was the perfect thing for it. I toyed with several ideas on how to do this heading, but in the end, decided that simple was the best.
So now it's your turn to make something in this style and enter it into the challenge. Click on the image below to see what the other design team members have come up with and enter into the challenge.
