Stampin' Dreams - Christmas

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am participating in the Stampin' Dreams monthly blog hop. Our theme this month is Christmas. I love Christmas and wish it could go for longer. But then I guess it would loose its specialness.

With so many great things to choose from to make a project for today, I decided it was time for a card no stamping on it. I have a few reasons for this. One is that not everyone like stamping, and another is that sometimes it is great to use everything else and make it a feature instead of an accompaniment to the stamps. So thats' what I did.

I absolutely love how this card came together. And without a stamped image in site. The smoky slate background colouring is so far left field for me normally, but I love it on this card. And the chcicken wire element just shines so much.

I even used washi tape on this card. I haven't used washi tape in what seems like forever. But it was perfect here. And those cute little enamel trees....perfect.
