Show Your Heart Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am taking part in a very special blog hop. One that is very close to a fellow demonstrator friend.  I hope you can help support the cause.

We are a group of card makers who like to make a difference. We have gathered to gather to raise awareness and funds for HeartKids.

HeartKids help families fight against one of the leading causes of infant death in Australia, congenital heart disease. For the 8 babies born each day with heart disease, there is no known cure.

We're inspired by the work that HeartKids do, so we wanted to raise money for them as part of our participation in Show Your Heart 2019. We will be showing our hearts to help little hearts so please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the Donate button below.

On behalf of all the little hearts we are helping, we thank you for showing your heart.

So in keeping with the theme, I have made a cute card featuring what else, but hearts.

I love hearts and I love florals, so these hearts were a match made in heaven for me. You won't find this product in any catalogue yet. It is new and will appear in the upcoming Occasions Catalogue. The love hearts were actually cut out from the All My Love Designer Series Paper.  But they weren't cut out by hand. I was delighted to discover that the Be Mine Stitched Framelits fit around them and cut them out perfectly.

Freshly Brewed Projects - Stitched All Around

Hello and welcome to my blog. It is time for your weekly dose of the Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls. Our  theme this week is using the Stitched All Around products.

The Stitched All Around stamp set is very versatile and has some fantastic sentiments in it. Plus it as the most gorgeous matching thinlits.

I decided to not make a card for todays blog hop. Instead I was inspired to make a scrap book page instead. Two reasons for this. The first is a picture I came across as I was going through my late parents photo albums. They had all their photos in albums that were deteriorating the photos. So I am taking all the photos out of the albums and putting them in photo boxes. One of the photos I came across was one of my daughter when she was very young. I have always loved the photo so decided to scrap it. The second reason, which reinforced my intention to scrap it, was one of the sentiments in the Stitched All Around stamp set. Here is the page.

Do you only think of cards when you think Stampin' Up!. Well our products can be used for so much more than that. All the products on this layout can be found in my online Stampin' Up! store. Check it out here - http://bit.ly/shopwithnarelle

Oh darling, you are fabulous. That sums up my daughter so well at this age. She was such a happy little girl and so funny. Definitely the apple of her grandfathers eye. And if I remember correctly, this photo was taken when he was doing something over and over again that she found hilarious.

The sentiment is amazing and so suits the photo. I used the matching framelits which adds a lovely feminine touch and perfect for the floral theme I was using.

The cute stitched circle and love heart you can see above are also in the matching Stitched Labels Framelits. Here are a few more close ups.

Demonstrator Training Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am participating in a blog hop with some of my fellow training participants. There are demonstrators from all around the world on the list, so sit back and be prepared to be inspired.

There is no theme for our hop today, so I am sure you will be presented with a wonderful array of projects. For my card today, I decided to do a grateful and thankful theme. At this time of year, as we draw towards the end, it is always nice to sit back and think about the people who have helped us along our journey through the year. And it is even nicer to give thanks for all the help you have received.

Need an elegant stamp set? Then look no further than the Flourish Filigree set. See more details here - http://bit.ly/FlourishFiligree

I have used the Flourish Filigree stamp set today. I love the great big flourish in this set. It is so much more versatile than just that one image though. Here I have used just the tip of the stamp set. I creates a beautiful and elegant border.

Now that you have seen my project, make sure you visit everyone below to see what beautiful creations they have waiting for you.

Thanks for dropping by.

International Highlights

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am taking part in Kylie's International Highlights. The theme is gratitude and thankfulness. These are feelings we all need to express regularly, so I was only too pleased to create a card in this theme.

I chose to use the Flourish Filigree stamp set for todays card. Even though it is in the Holiday catalogue and has a Christmas sentiment in it, it is so much more than that.

Make elegant cards easily with the Flourish Filigree stamp set. See it here - http://bit.ly/FlourishFiligree

I decided to create a flourish banner across the middle of the card, just for something different. It is a new way to use the main stamp in the set. Just put some scrap paper across the top and bottom of the card front, then stamp the flourish stamp onto the card front. The only part you will see is where the masking paper is not. It's a great effect. I love doing this technique for floral stamps, but I think it worked well for this one too.

If you want to see what everyone has done, just click the image below. And while you are there, I would appreciate it if you could vote for me too.
