So Hoppy Together

Hello and welcome. Today I have a fun card to share with you. It uses one of the FREE stamp sets you can get during Sale-A-Bration, So Hoppy Together.

Darling Petals

Hello and welcome. Today I have something new to show you. Recently I have been intrigued by the Concord & 9th's Turnabout stamps. So I caved and just had to buy one. Here is the first card I made with it.

Tea Together

Hello and welcome. Today I have a stamp set and framelits to share with you that you are going to adore. There are so many ladies who will appreciate projects made with them. Here is what I made with them recently.

Butterfly Beauty meets Foil Sheets

Hello and welcome. Today I have two products to share with you, that were a match made in heaven. Oh my! I am talking about the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits and the Sale-A-Bration Foil Sheets.  Let me show you the cards I made, then I will talk about these amazing products.

Beautiful Heart

Hello and welcome. Today I have a special card to share with you. It is special for lots of reasons. But first let me show you the card because I am so in love with it, you just have to see it now.

Basic Grey - Hero Arts and Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome. Today I have a scrap page to share with you that uses a combination of brands. If you have been a regular follower of my blog, you would have noticed a shift away from being exclusively Stampin' Up!. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am not working Stampin' Up! as much as I was. This has resulted in me diving into my paper crafting stash that I have built up over the last eighteen or so years. Since I joined Stampin' Up! over six years ago, my stash of other companies supplies sat unloved. But since I still love Stampin' Up!, I am trying to incorporate it as much as I can into the projects I am currently making. Today's project  is no exception.

Flourish Thinlets

Hello and welcome. Today I want to share a scrap page with you and talk about how you can make your own embellishments. For this page I have used the Flourish Thinlets but you can use any that suite your layout.

With Sympathy

Hello and welcome. Today I have a beautiful card to share with you, but the occasion for which I had to make this card was not so beautiful. A couple of weeks ago, one of my Aunt's passed away. I grew up with this lady as our next door neighbour my whole life until I got married and moved out of home.

Friday the Thirteenth

Hello and welcome. With a heading like Friday the Thirteenth, I bet you were expecting to see something Halloween like. But you will be pleasantly surprised. Instead I have a gorgeous scrap page to share with you of my late Mum. The Friday the Thirteenth comes into it as that is the brand of the paper I have used. This paper is from their Hello Beautiful Collection.

Memories

Hello and welcome. I have been sharing a series of scrap book pages that I have done on my Aunts wedding. I couldn't go past doing one on my parents at that wedding since Mum was a bridesmaid.

More Marry Me by Mintay

Hello and welcome. Today I have a double scrap page to share with you. Again I have used the Mintay Marry Me range of papers. They suite these wedding party photos from my Aunts wedding so well. I love their vintage, floral and pastel feel.

Marry Me by Mintay

Hello and welcome. It's another scrap page today. Continuing on with my Aunty Daph's wedding photos. Except for this layout I don't actually have  the photo. For some reason I can't seem to find a photo of my Aunt and Uncle on their wedding day. I am sure Mum and Dad had one in their stash, but it wasn't with the other photos of the wedding. So I will have to visit my Aunt one day and take a copy of one of hers. It wasn't going to stop me creating a page for the photo though.

Vibrant Vases

Hello and welcome. Today I have a card to share with you that was inspired by some flowers I bought. Whenever I go to the cemetery to visit my mother and fathers grave, I always stop to buy a couple of bunches of flowers. On this particular day they had the prettiest multi coloured blooms. I had seen multicoloured roses before, but not these type of flowers. So I just had to get them.

Well Said

Hello and welcome. Today I have a card for you that is very simple yet very striking. I wanted to highlight the sentiment but I couldn't help myself  in creating a gorgeous background, so the sentiment didn't end up the highlight at all. Oh well, these things happen.

Country Floral Embossing

Hello and welcome. Today I have some cards to share with you using the Country Floral Embossing Folder. Each card has used the embossing folder in a different way. So all up, I share with you four ways to use the same folder to get different looks.

This is the folder in case you haven't seen it. Did you know you can get this folder for FREE with a qualifying order?

Ladybug

Hello and welcome. Today I have a fun scrapbook page to share with you. As soon as I saw the new release papers, I knew exactly the perfect photos I had for them. I knew there was a reason I hadn't scrapped these photos before...lol

Cake Soiree

Hello and welcome. Today I have a pretty floral card to share with you. It was one that I was meant to do for a blog hop, but I dragged my feet and missed the deadline. But still had to share it with you. The main stamp set used was Cake Soiree, but there's not a cake in sight on this card.

Lots of lovely flowers from the Cake Soiree stamp set. Background is subtle yet perfect for the card, using the Hardwood stamp. A final touch of little wooden Frames Elements, some of which sparkle from a touch of Clear Wink of Stella. Get all these supplies and more in my online store. Link in bio.

Shake It Up Blog Hop

Off The Rails Scrapbooking - Vintage

Hello and welcome. Today is the first day of a new month, so that means there is a new challenge over at Off The Rails Scrapbooking.

Things are changing.

Hello and welcome to my blog.  You may have noticed I have been a little absent lately. There are a few reasons for that.

Over the last few weeks I have done a lot of soul searching and working out what is working in my life, and what isn't. So to cut to the chase, one of the things that wasn't working, and the thing that will affect my readers and followers the most, is my journey with Stampin' Up!.

Paw Prints on my Heart Blog Hop

Hello and welcome. Today I am participating in a special blog hop all about our furry friends. It is called Paw Prints on my Heart Blog Hop.

This is a blog hop featuring projects showcasing the love we have for our fur babies!

I have created a scrap page for you of our beautiful Chocolate Point Ragdoll called Angel.

Have you seen the Pretty Kitty stamp set? So much fun to colour. See it here - http://bit.ly/shopwithnarelle

She sure is one pretty kitty and very spoilt. But how could you not spoil her with such a cute face. Here are some close ups of the page.

I have used one of the sheets from the Share What You Love Designers Paper. The reverse side of one of the pieces was perfect as I thought it looked like paw prints.

I wanted to use all Stampin' Up! supplies, after all, that's what I sell. But we don't have a terrible lot in our range that suits. However we do have a couple of stamp sets and a punch.

Cat Punch

I don't have the Nine Lives stamp set and Cat Punch yet, but I do have the Pretty Kitty stamp set. How aptly named is it! I used all the images in it and had a great deal of fun colouring them using our Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

Each coloured image and each piece of the pretty designer series paper was cut out using the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. These dies make it so easy to get everything the same size. I am in love with them.

I wanted to bring some brightness to the page as the backing designer series paper I used was very neutral. So what is brighter than the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper. I didn't necessarily want all the florals as I thought that would distract from the coloured kitties. So I used the reverse side of the paper. Still vibrant and bright without being too distracting.

For the heading I stamped onto Whisper White card stock using the Lined Alphabet stamp set, then coloured them with Stampin' Blends. I tried to create an ombre effect. They were then cut out using the Layering Alphabet dies. Now these dies don't cut out the complete letter as they are designed to sit under each other for a different effect. But you just need to cut the extra bit with your paper snips and you have a perfect cut out letter.
