Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am participating in the ESAD Blog Hop in which we are featuring new products from the Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration offering.
If you are unfamiliar with what ESAD is, I have an explanation further down the page.
Every January we have an additional mini catalogue released which we call the Occasions Catalogue. And it is always full of delightful products. It's release coincides with our most favourite time of the Stampin' Up! year - Sale-A-Bration.
What is Sale-A-Bration? It is an amazing sale where you can earn free items for every $90 and $180 in an order. There are two levels of free items. Level 1 when you spend $90, and Level 2 when you spend $180. And because the items you can earn are exclusive to the free list, the only way you can get them is to place a qualifying order.
I do wish sometimes that these products would find their way into another catalogue. Especially when they are as good as the one I am going to show you today.
Here it is, then wonderful Lasting Lily stamp set which is a Level 2 item. So free when you spend $180 in the one order.
I love this stamp set. So classic and elegant. I had to make more than one card using it.
So I made four. I chose four colours from the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper and made one for each.
This Lasting Lily stamp set is a photopolymer stamp set but not your average photopolymer. It is textured, a bit like the Distinktive stamps, so it gives the shading effect when you stamp.
It is amazing and I love the effect when you stamp it. Because it is textured, the right amount of ink on your ink pad will make a difference in how it comes out. But once you get to know the correct level of ink required, this stamp will not disappoint. And the number of sentiments in the set is amazing.
Here is closer look at the four different cards. You can tell which ones didn't come out quite right because the ink level was wrong in my ink pad. But I still think they are pretty and who ever receives them will love them regardless.
To purchase any of the items I have used on my projects, please see the shopping list below.
Now that you have seen my creations, it is time to head over to see what Rachael has created. If you get lost along the way, the complete list of particpants is below.
