Hello and welcome. Today I have a card to show you that uses the Dear Doily stamp set and some of the retiring colours. I used the same stamp set yesterday but different retiring colours. But today I wanted to also show you how you can make an amazing card with just simply stamping.
I love the Dear Doily stamp set and even though you can get it in a bundle with the matching dies, today I have just used the stamp set. I think it works amazingly on cards by itself. If you don't have a die cutting machine, or just love to only stamp, then this stamp set will see you creating lots of lovely cards really quickly.
I love how detailed these doily's are. And they stamp so crisp every time. I used three retiring colours on my card today - Berry Burst, Fresh Fig and Petal Pink. They are retiring at the end of May, so if you love them, like I do, you had better get them quick smart. I am going to miss Berry Burst the most.
I added some heat embossing for the sentiment and some trim using the coordinating dies. But you could just as easily leave these off and stamp your sentiment straight onto the card front using black ink. I also added some splashes of ink using an aqua painter. Again, you can leave this off and still have a wonderful card.
To see all the products I have used, check out the shopping list below.
Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
