Dear Doily

Hello and welcome. Today I have a card to share with you using the Dear Doily stamp set and matching framelits. The card also uses some special colours. I will explain later why these colours are so special, but first here is the card.

This card was made using the Dear Doily Bundle consisting of the stamp set and framelits.
When I saw the Dear Doily stamp set in the Occasions Catalogue, I just knew I needed to have it. It has though, taken me till now to get it. There was just so much other stuff that I liked as well.  So I finally got to use it this week and came up with this card above.

If you haven't seen this stamp set, here it is as a bundle. If you want the bundle of the stamp set and framelits, you had better it quickly as it is on Low Inventory. This means that we have very limited supplies left and it is very close to running out.

If you look very closely at this card, you would be able to tell that I changed the design of this card from what I started with. I was attempting to create a wreath with the stem flower, but it looked odd. So I put a piece of card stock over most of it. If you look closely you can see the end of some stems that look out of place. But I guess you would never have noticed them if I didn't point them out. One of the reasons I did point them out was because I wanted to let you know that you can always change a design as you go along.

So let's talk about the colours I used on this card. These are two of the 2017-2019 InColors - Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist.

Did you know that these colours will be retiring at the end of next month. So if you want these colours, in either the inks, refills, paper or embellishments, then you had better grab them fast. Once everyone realises they won't be around much longer,  they will sell out quickly. Some of the reinkers are already on low inventory. So click on the graphic below to shop the InColours.

To purchase any of the products I have used on this card, please see the shopping list below.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
