Incredible Like You

Hello and welcome. Today I have a card to share with you that uses the retiring Incredible Like You stamp set. But when you look at the card it won't be very obvious that I have used that set. Sometimes I like to look at a set and work out a non obvious way to use it. Todays card was the result of that.

When most people look at the Incredible Like You stamp set they see the flower. And then expect to see that on a card made using the stamp set. If you haven't seen the stamp set and don't know what I am talking about, here it is.

If you look at the image above, notice the two stamps in the bottom right corner. They are the stamps I have used on this card. I was inspired by a photo I saw of a weeping willow and thought these two stamps would make an amazing weeping willow type foliage. And they came our perfectly. Here is a weeping willow if you aren't sure what they look like.

I saw my first weeping willow tree on a family holiday when I was very young. And I have loved them ever since. So when I saw a photo the other day, I knew I wanted to incorporate that into a card.

I added some butterflies using the Butterfly Gala stamp set. These butterflies were stamped onto water colour paper and punched out using the Butterfly Duet Punch. The little Powder Pink flowers were punched out using the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack. The centres of the flowers are the Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins. Here is a close  up showing some of the detail using all this wonderful array of products.

I hope you love this card and I have inspired you to get crafty today.

To purchase any of the products, please see the product list below. Some of these products are retiring end of May 2019, so they may have sold out.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
