Needle and Thread

Hello and welcome. Today I want to show you a card using the Needle and Thread stamp set and talk colour coordination. You may have noticed that I have been doing a series of posts around the Needle and Thread suite, and most of the cards have used the same colours. Each card has had at least that same core colour with a few others added at times. I will do this for several reasons, but more on that after you have seen todays card.

One of the best things about Stampin' Up! is the colour coordination. All of the inks, papers, embellishments all coordinate. So you are never left wasting time searching for the perfect match. This card today is from my current Online Class. When I design a class I choose one product to be the feature. For this Needle and Thread class I chose the patterned paper. So if you have been following along in this series of posts, you would have noticed that every card so far has had patterned paper on it. All from the one pack of Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper. Because I was using that paper, naturally all the colours I have used in class will match. But with around eight different colours in the paper, I can' expect everyone to have all those colour inks. So I choose a few core colours and just use them. So in this class you will see mostly Berry Burst, Old Olive and Night of Navy.

Like I mentioned earlier, this card is from the current Online Class. But registration closes for this today. So don't delay and register now. Click on the graphic below for more information.

To purchase any of the products I have used on todays card, please see the product list below.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
