Freshly Brewed Projects - Mother's Day

Hello and welcome. It is time for another Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls. The topic this week is  Mother's Day. I can't believe that we are already in May and Mother's Day is just around the corner. Although Mother's Day will never be the same for me since loosing my Mum, I still have a very special Aunt in my life who deserves my Mother's Day love. So she will be the recipient of my card this year.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to put a Mother's Day sentiment on the card. But I think that this sentiment is special and conveys what is in my heart. This Aunt of mine was like a second Mum growing up and now we have moved closer to her, we are rekindling that bond.

I have used the Needle and Thread stamp set on this card as I love the flowers in the set. They are made to look like stitched flowers. These are very suitable for my Aunt as she used to do a lot of needlework. I recently came across some of my late Mums needlework from when she was a young woman. I showed my Aunt and we spent some lovely time reminiscing. So I think she will enjoy a card with these flowers on it.

Now that you have seen my card, it is time to see what the other Latte girls have created.

The stamp set I have used on this card is retiring and won't be available after the end of this month. To purchase it, or any of the products I have used on todays card, please see the product list below.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
