Stamp 'N Hop

Hello and welcome. Today I am taking part in the November Stamp N Hop Blog Hop. Our theme this time around is to use a sketch as inspiration. I love using sketches as it takes a lot of the designing away so you can focus on having fun creating.

This is the card I made.

This is the sketch that we used as inspiration.

As I said earlier I love using sketches. One of the main reasons is because you can interpret them any way you like. You can turn them sideways and play with the location of the elements. They really help in getting the creative juices flowing. My take on the sketch saw me move the long element in the middle to the far left side. The thin element across the card was changed to the ribbon running down the length of the card. And the round element was changed to my sentiment rectangle. I still used the sketch as inspiration, you can still see the elements of it on my card. The end result is the same but different.

Now that you have seen my card, hop over to Sandra's blog to see what she has come up with.

If you get lost along the way, here is the complete list of today's blog hoppers.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
