Sweetest Borders Dies

Hello and welcome. Today I have another card to share with you using the Sweetest Borders Dies. I love a die set that can be used stand alone and independent of the coordinating stamp set. And you know a love a product when I just can't stop creating with it. I have more yet to show you, so make sure you come back for a few more days yet.

I wanted to keep this card simple as we are all time poor on the run up to Christmas. So I wanted to show you how you can create a stunning card with a little effort. I made a video while I made this card so you can see just how easy it was to make.

Thanks for dropping by.

Have a great day.

Cheers,

Narelle

Christmas Gleaming

Hello and welcome. It is time for another Freshly Brewed Projects. Our theme this time around is Bells & Baubles. I don't have any products with bells so I went with baubles and used the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and coordinating punches.

When I sat down to make this card, I had to shuffle some built up stuff around that was lying on my desk and I came across a piece of the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper that I had coloured with Stampin' Blends. I thought I would see what it looked like punched out as a bauble. This was the result.

I love how this card came together and the feel of those baubles is divine. I am sure who ever gets this card will spend some time feeling them too. And I just love that holly spray. I have lost count of the times I have coloured and cut it out. It certainly is a favourite of mine.

If you look closely, you will see that the front bauble appears to be floating, as if it is actually hanging from the holly. That effect has been achieved by using a double layer of dimensionals.

I made a quick video showing you how to make it.

Now that you have seen my creation, it is time to see what Libby has made.

Here is everyone that's hoping along today.
