Ornate Style

Hello and welcome. Today I have a simple yet effective card to share with you using the Ornate Style stamp set. It really is a lot easier to make than it looks.

I love the big bold floral stamp in the Ornate Style stamp set but I just didn't feel like colouring it. So instead I decided to cut into four and mount it to create a split panel feature. So easy to do. Just stamp your image then trim your piece of white card stock to measure 3" x 4 1/4". Then cut it in half length ways and then each half in half again to get 4 even pieces. Cut a piece of backing card stock to measure 3 1/4" x  4 1/2". Then glue on the 4 pieces of the stamped image evenly onto the backing ard stock. Mount using dimensionals onto backing patterned paper which measures 4" x 5 3/4". Add some embellishments then glue onto a tent fold card.

You can purchase the supplies I have used in my online store.

Lovely You

Hello and welcome. As the weather gets a bit colder here in Australia, I thought I would evoke the feeling of spring, and hopefully some warmer feelings, by creating a bright and cheery card using the Lovely You stamp set.

This is quite a simple, mostly one layer card. And it's so easy to do. So if you need a card and are in a hurry, all you need to do is grab out a few ink pads, the stamp set and some embellishments. To make it even quicker, you don't have to add the ribbon and the embossed sentiment. You could just stamp a large sentiment in the middle.

You can get all the supplies used in my online store.

How to use an ugly card

Hello and welcome. Today I want to show you how you can use an ugly card. I am sure we have all been there. We have made a card that we just don't like. It could be the colours or perhaps the style of it. But don't throw it away, today I want to show you how you can use that card.

Recently my mojo had taken a hike. I was cleaning up my craft room and came across a huge pile of card sketches. Perfect I thought for helping me get out of my crafty slump. In hindsight I should have just stopped right there .....hehehe. Because this is what I came up with.

I can't believe I just showed you that card....wow! Ugly!!!
But I was determined to use it, or rather parts of it. I just couldn't throw it out, so I made the elements from it into these three cards.

If you want to see how I did it, just watch the video below. The first 10 minutes of the video I talk about the awesome joining special we have starting on June 3. So if that doesn't interest you, just skip ahead.

You can purchase the products I used on my cards from my online store here from June 3.

Have a great day.

Narelle
