Pleased As Punch

Hello and welcome. Today I have two cards to share with you that are super simple and have minimal stamping. If you are not a fan of stamping, then you are going to love these cards.

See the only stamping on them is the sentiment, but you could just as easily not include that and they would still make awesome cards. The hearts are simply punched from the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper, using one of the punches from the Heart Punch Pack.

I just love how Stampin' Up! have great product coordination. The heart punch pack was released in the Mini Catalogue and was designed to coordinate with the From My Heart Suite of products. But now Stampin' Up! have released the Pleased As Punch paper so we can get even more use from our punches. I love it!  The paper not only works with the heart punches, but the Umbrella Builder Punch, Tulip Builder Punch and the Small Bloom Punch. Amazing!

See the products I used below. You can purchase all these products and more in my online store or by contacting me via one of the other methods.

Simply Inked Team Blog Hop - One Layer Card

Hello and welcome. It is time for another Simply Inked Team Blog Hop. Our theme this time around is One Layer Cards. So cards that have one or less layers on them. These don't have to be simply by any means.

I have chosen to do a card that has no layers. Everything is on the card front. It was a fun card to make with lots of technique used.

I used the wonderful Breathtaking Bouquet stamp. It is large background stamp that covers the complete card front. I have trouble handling the large background stamps due to my bung wrist, so I use the Stamparatus. It makes it so much easier.

I used Versamark ink to stamp it and then gold heat embossed it. Because this was going to be a one layer card I had to work out how to put a sentiment onto it without adding a layer. So I placed a piece of card stock onto my card front so that when I stamped, that piece of card stock would act as a mask and leave me a space for the sentiment. I was surprised how well it worked.

Once stamped and embossed, I coloured the image using sponge daubers. It was really quick and easy to do. Here is a close up so you can see the gold embossing.

Beryl from the Simply Inked Team has made a card for this blog hop too. I am hosting her card on my blog until she creates her own blog. I love that Beryl has chosen one of my favourite stamp sets to use, the Painted Poppies. And the mix of colours she has used is wonderful.

To purchase any of the products used on either of these cards, see the product list below where each item inks back to my online store. Or use one of my other ordering methods. If you would like to purchase through Beryl, please use the contact form and I will pass along your details.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.

Country Club

Hello and welcome. Today I have a couple of cards to share with you using the new Country Club Suite. If you have any golfers in your life, then this is a great suite to to take a look at.

The first card I am sharing today was made for my husbands birthday a few weeks ago. He loves to play golf but doesn't get the chance much. I love to watch golf, so this suite appeals to me as well.  He was very impressed that the suite includes left handed golfers. This is the card I made him.

The picture on this card is actually one of the pieces of designer series paper. It has all these preprinted images on them. Cut cut them to size and colour. Too easy. You can see it in the first piece of paper below.

The second, like the first card, has very little stamping on it. Just the sentiment. So if you don't like stamping, then these cards would be easy for you to copy. I thought the designer series paper was pretty special and didn't really need much else. I did however add some of the pieces die cut using the coordinating Golf Club Dies. Can you see what's wrong with the clubs. Hint - it's how I arranged them. Oh well, I didn't actually notice for a few days....hehe.

You can see a list of all the products in this suite and others I have used on these cards below. To purchase any of them, head to my online store, or click on each items below, or use one of my other ordering options.

Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day.
